Library Resources

• The Library's collection of licensed databases may include information on this topic; these are commercial, copyrighted materials that PGCMLS licenses for the reference and research needs of its customers; often this material comes directly from printed books. Most of these databases may be accessed remotely, while a few are available only to users on PC's in our Branches.

  Full explanations of how to do all sorts of things, organized by category. Also offers quickie lessons ("Mini-Wannas").
• SuTree: Watch & Learn
  Watch thousands of free video lessons and tutorials on topics like how to fix things, how to solve math problems, how to improve your golf or basketball skills, how to prepare a cheesecake, how to speak Chinese, or how to choose your next holiday destination.

  A few simple projects, plus links to artists, craftspeople, and shops.
• Joann.com Project Archive
  Lots of free instructions and patterns for stitchery, floral, home decorating, and kids' craft projects.

• Epicurious: For People Who Eat
  Thousands of searchable recipes, advice, cookbook reviews, and lots of kitchen know-how.
• RecipeSource
  A searchable online archives of recipes. Over 70,000 recipes are organized into two major groups - recipes primarily identified with an ethnic cuisine, or by type of dish.
